I wish I could catch up, I really do.  There's so much to share about Lynx and everything else going on in my life, but time continues short.

But I now have just ten weeks to write my dissertation, which I have to do between consulting and teaching, not to mention my #1 priority, Lynx, so I'm going to have to stay off the Internet as much as ( Read more... )

Had a double jaw drop this week, both times in relation to the Jornadinha Nacional de Literatura (National Literary Journey).

First, I found out I'll be speaking to 11,000 adolescents from 10 to 17 years old.  I'll be speaking to groups of 1,100 at a time over two days.
*gulp*...

I've been interviewed over a dozen times in Brazil this year, but one just came out on national TV which is really nice. It's in Portuguese, but shows my home office and a lot of artwork from the series

I'm immensely honored to have been invited to participate in the 14th Jornada de Literatura ("Literature Journey") in Passo Fundo.  This is one of the oldest and most important literary events in the country, so for me to be invited (someone just recently introduced into the Brazilian writing community) is an amazing surprise ( Read more... )

Lots of writing news from Brazil.

1) Since the book launch in December, I've been invited to participate in three anthologies.  All three are themed, all three from different publishers, and all three around 5-6K words.  Only one has been announced officially, which is Malleus Maleficarum - The Witch Hammer by Argonautas Editora.
