Today is Administrative Professionals Day, and the CEO, COO, and Exec Admintrative Assistant got me a cookie bouquet!

For the first time since I was 8 I decorated Christmas cookies today! I decorated about 30 total, plus 2 I ate, and 6 I gave to the neighbor for her boys to decorate for Santa.

The Fella made the dough, but the cookie cutting and decorations were me. He's never worked with rolled cookies.

I love my job, but I want today to be done with. I am incredibly sleepy today, plus the fact that it is 2 days before Christmas, so everybody is in the "just passing time" mode. Uber sleepy while trying to process my forms, makes very slow going. Under normal times, I would be done and waiting for more, not today. Not many to do, but after about 4 ( Read more... )

Seriously???? ite's a week and 1 day to Christmas??? I guess when you are 1600 miles away from all your friends and family, it kinda seems like just another day, but with a long weekend. It just doesn't quite feel like Christmas should.
