So I've splashed out and bought a bunch of albums I've been wanting to buy for a while -
Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - No Quarter
The Pixies - Surfer Rosa & Come On Pilgrim
The Cult - Electric
Rage Against The Machine - Renegade
Jamiroquai - Synkronized
All £5 each in Virgin.
I stumbled into a book shop, today and bought two language courses on CD French and a German language course on CD. No books etc - just language, so I can listen to them and ecouté et repeté on my way to and von Arbeit. This makes a lot of sense - not only am I snowboarding in Austria followed by France in February next year, but also my current boss is Austrian and the way things are looking, my next boss is French.
I had a meeting with the guy who's in charge of 55% of the company's revenue in Europe today (above mentioned). Good bloke and I think we hit the same chords.
I've just splashed the £500 to Gus for this coming February's trip to the French Mountains and another £125 to Cradders for a Last Supper before Christmas. Tomorrow I shed £560 for the trip to Austria. That's me a little poorer for Christmas, Tiny Tim style...
Those Amazon vouchers I've been holding onto (thanks to
slypants) will be great for me to buy myself an iPod Nano for Christmas.
