When I was in Austria, a couple of the boarders with us had skiers stick their poles into them as they went past. If I'd been there at the time I'd have gone over and 'prodded' them with my board.

Of course, this stands out because 99.999999% of skiers are just like the rest of us.

But sometimes you have to wonder...

So I'm fully cocked and loaded for another trip onto the snowy Alpine mountains, this time to France. Fingers crossed I won't go arse over tit this time.

Heading into the smoke, tomorrow, meeting Jimi D and catching the train to Gatwick and on to Austria for some snow action.

Almost giddy with anticipation!!

Been out for another run tonight, prepping my heart and lungs for snow action in a fortnight. After I got my breath back I did a bunch of press-ups, prepping for all those times I'll be falling over.

I'm so shakey, I can hardly hold my pint and cigarrette.
