I came to find out that a wonderful woman I worked with breifly  and was so easy to talk to and became an instant friend to me is in hospice with cancer.
Her name is Christina Rojas, she has worked for Sears over 15 years. She had not been ill, not known about the conditio until one day she didn't feel well went to the doctor and foudn out she had ( Read more... )

I have been working on a baby blanket off and on since the olympics - the night of the hockey start. It is for the best man at our wedding his wife and their upcoming baby boy. I was doing a craft exchange and the two folks I made things for have no received them. I had crocheted a purse of my own creation for  Corrie and then a fun little gift for Larry. And I wish I could say I took pics. I mean for the purse I did, but I haven't had a chance to upload to flickr in a LONG time. I am glad they both like them.

Or should I say our new home. We finally made it in the doors. We just had to live with most of our posessions in a rental truck from thursday night through monday afternoon when we finally got the keys. That truck cost nearly as much as the movers did. Well on the work front I went up 12 spots on the ranking for last month. from 31-19. Pretty good jump when I still feel a little shaky at best. MY manager told me that I am in the outstanding range for quality, the only things holding me back right now are my handle time/attendance and add-ons. I have the post secret page on the my yahoo. I try to visit it on Sunday or Monday when it is updated. I was stash diving yesterday, well over the weekend. I have been in a very off mood and needed a bit of a pick me up. So in hopes up finding a good thing I took to the yarn.
