I got a letter in the mail yesterday - at the old address - from Certegy - a check somthing company. Basically they had a fuckwad emlpoyee that sold information. Which causes me to be on hold for a long period of time. enter info into the automated "helpful" system so that when a 'real' person answers the issue they don't have all of my info. Hmmm how could that be. But perhaps they were not in tune with the computer speak.
WTF.
OK so I put up the free 90 day fraud alert. Checked my bank info on-line. Will go into the branch this afternoon with the letter so they can do what ever it is they can do abotu it.
The most exciting thin today is that the yard maintanance guy is outside with a hula-ho (fun garden tool for the cheapskates that don't use the weed and grass barrier under rocks). The dog freaked out and I thought someone was out front. I have been waiting for revisiosn from the new client. The completion-challenged client. He has some problem actually putting what he wants on the drawings.
How hard is it to put pen to paper and write what you need to get a permit on a set of house plans..... I mean really.
I took some WIP photos and a couple of FO of Elmo.. very saucy that little red monster.. He stood up on the desk hiding behind the edge of the drapes.. well sort of. Then sitting on my paving plans showing off the non kitchnered toe. I swear I will put pics up on my flickr so I can post them. That is a task for the laptop. Just plug in the card and you are good to go.
I am on the phone now to McAfee - they did an auto renewal of my virus stuff. Hmm funny thing though.. I can't download the product.. because it says I didn't pay for it. WTF The muzak is getting to me. And the woman that says I will be assited by the enxt available agent.. hmm where is she getting her information.. I sure as shit am not next.. or I wouldn't have listened to so many groovy tunes.
Ph.. so while I am here, stuck at the monitor.. I can tell you all about what I did yesterday. I went through/organized my crafty/knit bookcase and the magazines. I picked up some prettier magazine holders from Ikea last week. We had some items to return so that was one of my freebie purchases. I took a photo of the mostly done bookcase. Although I know there are more books at the old house. I need to just throw everything in a box and sort it out here. The hubby doesn't like that.. because that is bringing clutter into our house.. but I need to sort most of it.. I know I don't want it all. But to do it in front of my mother.. in her house.. with a awamp cooler. Umm lets just go with the resounding NO!!!
So eventually hopefully before we actually do move I will have everything here. In some semblance of order.
Ehh who knows. We will see. We have one closet in the office.. that is our catch-all location. We just don't have the space to put it anywhere else. Yawn!!. the muzak is putting me to sleep. It must have hypnotic qualities.. the psuedo harpsychord rock. sigh........
