optical migraines
So last week.. or so ago the CT was clear. Nothing on it. I had the eye appt today. I tell her all of the symptoms and she says I think I have a good idea what it is but lets ocntinue and get a good eye health check. What that really means is here lets blow air in your eye (glaucomo test you know) look at flahy lights.. and put in drops that make you want to pluck out your eyes.
Yes.. I was dilated. I wandered the store after with my oh so sexy plastic sun glasses. the huby told em that I looked like a little old lady. Well I do know my grandpa used to wear those really big plastic sun glasses that fit over his prescription glasses. I think after he passed away my grandmother started using them too. She says it is because she had her eye surgery. But she began to do things that reminded her of him after he died. It is funny because when he was alive she always complained about him soo much. But that was just the relationship they had.
OK anywho.. So the appt. She determined that I have been having optical migraines. She was happy to hear I had had a CT already that was negative, becuase it could be a sign of real problems. But that from what I described it is not really anything. But.. while I was there she found that I have astigmatism in my right eye and have reduced vision in my left eye. I picked out a pair of glasses with titanium frames. They are very light, and because they are single vision lenses I was able to pay the extra to get the transition lenses. It makes it so much easier to not have to put on sun glasses, because they are mainly for distance use. Like driving or going to the movies. I don't have to use them for computer work. I mean I can see the text as I type it clearly and precisely. but.. across the room there is a bit of fuzz around it all.
So that is the news. I need glasses and I need to reduce my stress. Which means I need to set an appt for a massage... That is relaxing. I also need to finsh that idiots house plan. Oh.. but that would mean he would ahve to get off his butt and give me all of the information.. which isn't goona happen soon. He is timing impaired right now.
But i need to let go of the work frustration it only leads to the sparkle spots in my eyes.
