Let the project begin......
My mother decided to redo my nephew's bedroom for him before he starts 7th grade this year in a new school.
We went and took measurements of the room Tuesday. Yesterday was scheduled for IKEA to decide on furniture before we start the demolition.
It is a good size room but he has a queen size bed in there which just takes up too much space.
So I drove my mother, Benjamin and his younger brother Sean up to Philadelphia to look at furniture before heading back to my mother's house for Thursday family dinner. They plopped and tore apart many a bed before he decided on the one he wanted. We had a nosh in the cafe so we could add up the estimate.
The total wasn't too bad and he will be able to get a good number of years of use out of it. I have to go to Home Depot tonight and get some paint sample sheets so I can get this project going early next week.
He is beyond excited which is very nice to see.
Well let me head to the movies.
