Hey Andrew -- you were right about the lead singer of The Dreaming (I finally looked at the album cover to find the band's name today) sounding like the singer for Stabbing Westward. It is in fact the same guy:

In a discussion this evening with kaerukami and ehcnalava, I mentioned that Madonna had not been to Texas since 1987. I got that data point wrong. Garbage has a new release coming on July 17: a greatest hits collection called "Absolute Garbage."
