Ugh, what an evening
First off, the ATI driver horked upon wakening up, finally got that up and running, then Firefox horked and did a reinstall, and used a bad downloader apparently through Explorer (top of the list, Mozilla was way down the list, but not after I had installed this suspicious version oF FF. I then deleted it, and found the Mozilla site, and got the download.
But not before I got a shit load of ADS, and I have ad blocker plus, which now seems to be NOT filtering anything AT ALL, and I get intrusive ads gallore. GAH!
I am so frustrated with this evening because of shit like this. ABP WAS working just fine, and now, not worth shit. Something I think has infected my PC? I had to get rid of some crap that installed on my PC, something about baby poo or some such was one of them.
I think as long as shockwave is kaput I can for now avoid the pop up ads that override what ever I'm trying to do.
