Actually, it went well for my first day back at work. The drive out to the new lot not as bad, and the trip down via shuttle takes about 2 minutes. Turns out it cuts south to SE 36 and down the hill to the north side of the campus and drops us off at NP4's front entrance, and I just had to take the elevator down to P5 level of the parking garage there in the building and then walk down to the main building where the mailroom is located.
I practically weint into immediate work mode and started getting shit done. First was do the upper floors there at the main building as our co-worker Doug is out, and then I went to do my building, remembering to bring along new copies of our check lists.
Overall the day itself went great, the high was around 52F here at the house and it was almost spring like by the afternoon.
However, the really good news was my tax return check dropped into my mailbox last night and got it deposited into both checking and savings, so my minimum contribution is replenished back to where it should be, $2,565. Then I put about 479 or so on the credit card and that brought the balance down to about $991 or so. So that felt really good.
However, I'm now down to $109 in checking... Rent is due on Sunday and it's now 1050/Mo. :-( This is because the new rent begins in March.
I got a phone call last evening from a Mark? at John L. Scott realty to call him back at my earliest convenience. Have NO idea what he wants as he called my landline. I may call him today.
Today is another dry one, mostly sunny and 56F for the high (in Seattle, Bellevue will be a degree or two warmer likely), and it's 37F now. Still frosty/chilly in the mornings however. Tomorrow, rains return.
So that is that, need to see what else is new in emails and such as my phone petered out this morning since I never got it on the charger last night. It's charging now though that it's Tuesday morning. I had begun this post last night, but never finished, nor posted, so am fininshing it up now...
