The work week begins today
My vacation was pretty good all told and today, I have to drive to an off site lot and get shuttled in. Ugh. Fortunately, both churches are about a couple of miles at most from the campus. What this means is, I will be hitting one of 2 large churches with PLENTY of parking, though one church has 300 spaces available, the other, a mere 100 available.
I'm going to the larger one as it's right off of I-90 in the Eastgate area.
I'll see how to get back onto I-90 from there, and I think it can be done at 150th that goes over the freeway.
The weather today is expected to be sunny and 55F, nice indeed. Can't believe spring is actually a month a way now.
While I have not found a place as yet, the search has really begun with two sojourns to West Seattle last week. My tax refund is expected to arrive this week if I'm not mistaken as it was mailed on the 19th, which was last Thursday.
Finding hope in the MLS listings, though at least two of the homes with some possibilities may be priced a bit too high for what they are and/or their condition, but still less than 200K as they were around $180K. So we'll see if my gut instincts is anywhere near right on that.
Made spaghetti last night and chocolate chip cookies and for the first time since issues began to surface last spring, I finally have a successful batch made, yay! However, they are still a touch thinner and a touch crispier on the surface, but still soft at least when warm anyway in the middle.
I will need to divvy up and freeze the spaghetti sauce and finish cleaning up the kitchen. The vast majority got done last night as I washed dishes THREE TIMES yesterday, the dishes from the previous couple of days, then the stuff I used to make the cookie dough, and the larger pots and pants to add, the rest I'll do today.
So with that, gotta fix lunch and get out the door so I can get find the church once in Bellevue.
BTW, it's the NEXT exit after Richard's Road I need to take, and it is a long one as it begins just before 142 AVE SE overpass that goes over I-90.
