Kitchen a little cleaner
Though I still have to do the floor, which I'll quickly get here momentarily.
If you cook like I do, your kitchen will need more than a mere surface cleaning from time to time, and that means cleaning the walls good, clean the range hood and all that too. This includes cleaning of the stove and fridge from time to time too, and that includes the outside where possible.
Reason, grease, dust and simple dirt conspire to make our kitchen's dingy, dirty, and at times sticky and generally gross feeling as this film coats everything, and this is not including the spills down the fronts of the lower cabinets and such, either.
So, that's what I did, got the major portion of the kitchen cleaned up, including the front of the fridge and the top of it too.
I had let it go a bit too long, and it was sorely needed, now, it's MUCH cleaner, but not perfect. At least now, it'll be less nasty when it comes to moving out when that time comes in the next several months or so.
Felt good to do so too.
While David and Amy had days of dirty dishes piled up on the counter, their dishwasher full of clean dishes, their floor and general kitchen was cleaner than mine. Mine had less dirty dishes (and I don't have a dishwasher), but was overall dirtier, and that included the floor.
Next up, vacuum the floor of detritus and put stuff back and go make a quick store run for milk, coffee filters, and bread.
