It was one of the best that we've done for a while, I think, and a lot of that is down to being able to stand in enough of an arc that we could hear each other. In other news, we have snow. Not a lot, but enough that sandals are not going to be approved wear tomorrow.

We've been rehearsing Before the Dawn: the Concert Edition all day, and to my great lack of surprise I'm running out of voice. Two hours of music (and that's the cut version!) takes a lot of work, particularly given that some of it has only been stapled together in the last month, but it's getting really quite slick now ( Read more... )

This is the song I entered into the FKO songs-written-at-the-con contest. All entries had to contain the words arrhythmia, cacophany, amnesia, distonia (which turns out to be spelt 'dystonia' and be a neuro-muscular disease rather than tone deafness) and penguin.
