Jinsei wo katarazu - Talking about his covers
Hi! I'm here again, with another English lyrics, this was actually at the end of my pending list, and this is the way I usually translate, that's why I never get to the first of the oldest.. So.. at least I found this pretty interesting.. And yet again another song from Tsuyoshi's Hippopotamus album :P
Ok this song is in the cover album from Domoto Tsuyoshi featuring songs by artists he respects. The song is called, as in the title, Jinsei wo Katarazu by Yoshida Takuro, he's an influential musician. And since, I couldn't find the English translation of this song, I decided to try and see if I could do it. I like this in the sense that you get a little puzzled, or at least me, after reading the name of the song, but I liked the message, and I think it gets transmitted. [T/N]: I really like the rhythm, the pace and the calmness with he sings this song. And about the lyrics I hope they make sense in English. I guess what he meant with the phrase that says we can't speak of life refers to talking in a way that's too definitive, since we're still writing it with our actions. And I liked, specially the stanzas in which he basically says that as long as you are alive, you still have time. So, I liked the overall positive message. As usual sorry for any mistakes.
I like the songs he chose for this album, even most of them are ballads, it takes me more time to appretiate a ballad and I'm happy to have discovered this album. I'll leave the link for the other song I've translated from this album, which is really nice too.

And now my usual random talk, first I'm watching Quartet and I love the ending song! I just finished watching ep 6, and I really liked how everything was handled up until now. Everyone that I have read commenting on this dorama keep praising Mitsushima's work, and I love Suzume as a character but each episode it is Takako's character that mesmerises me, she is doing such a good work, and I can't take enough of her story. And I like the humour and all the four characters are really interesting, from the guys my favourite is Iemori, he's so funny. It is a very good story-telling dorama, you should give it a shot, it's the same writer from Soredemo, Ikite Yuku, and I enjoyed that story a lot.
And I watched a little bit of Kanjam with Koichi on it, I usually only watch their performance but this time I was able to catch a little bit of him talking about his Endless Shock, and he was so into it. I love this side of him, and he's an amazing performer, just look at this haha
On others news, there's Sakurai Sho's scandal, lol, meaning probably dating someone, it's nice that I can picture both of them sharing interests in common, that makes you think he's a smart person to choose his partner..Either way, I hope this ends well..
Sometimes I ramble a lot about other groups, but Arashi still has the biggest part of my fandom heart, so I'm looking forward to Aiba-chan's dorama, and whichever comes next.
