It's definitely been a while... right? I don't even know what to say, should I say something?



This was my longest break ever, I used to think it was impossible for me to have such a long break from here, but I guess it was possible... but anyways, I'm here now and this is actually a song I decided to try and translate because of their latest upload on their brand new channel, which is great! I'll talk about it later and also I'll point out my favorite parts, but let's go with the lyrics because I don't know what else to do~

This is a coupling song from their single Luv Bias, I love that single because I like each song, I remember back then doubting whether to try this song, which was my fave I think, after LB, but this song is FULL of English words, really hard to blend. And now, after watching their performance, I was hyped and this sounded so much like Mitsu's solo! and then, if you look at the lyricist and composer of this song, you get why, it's the same! "Hai ni naru mae" ni is an amazing song, and it goes so well with Mitsu's vocals. I got kanji from here and this was my best try~

T/N: First of all, English!! all over the place, I'm sorry but I had to add some connectors between brackets because otherwise, it was way too disconnected, especially the long stanza. But if you keep on reading the lyrics you'll find meaning within them, actually, it surprised me that the topic was a little similar to Mitsu's solo, which totally makes sense, but still...

I like the stanza with the "if I die tomorrow" lol, and also this is Tokyo... for some reason. Oh, actual notes now, the distorted, it was there twice, because that's what they usually do, they write the word in English but expand the meaning in Japanese, so the end result is a little bit of my interpretation on how to connect them.
I guess this is a little of a heartbreak song, the one singing feels totally lost, cold and naked, in a world in which he can't advance nor move forward, so that person is asking for help, it's asking for her to release the brakes and put their story in motion again. That's my sort of summary or at least that's how I see it.

The studio version uses heavy effects and a sort of distortion over their voices, which favors some members more than others. Tbh, to me, this song was made for Mitsu's voice, it sounds amazing, but let's check their performance.

I'm not lying, this motivated me to try this song, after so long and after saying to myself I don't do this sort of lyrics. So, let's see, the first solo lines go to Mitsu, of course!! it's perfect! later, Miyata. Later Nika, he sounds good! poor Senga! those outfits and he's bathing in sweat XD Now, we get Tama, now, I don't think this style suits him the most... Singing together while dancing and Nika is almost breathless but he sounds amazing, yes! Senga, yes! Wow, now it's Wata and Gaya, Wata sounds good with this effect on the voice but, his English pronunciation needs a little... and I'm sorry Gaya's mustache... I can't give another comment! Okay, now Gaya's taking the song, yes! that's how you say "Tokyo" Tama!! And my last comment goes to Tama's hair... well, I have nothing to say XD oh and Miyata lifts up his shirt XD

I loved it, it's been a while since I watch a Kisumai concert, actually any concert, for different reasons, but this made me want to be there so much~ Nice

So, that's it! the first entry in a whole while... I'm not sure the reason, I can't say I'm back but I have some sort of plans, let's see~
