compared to Thanksgiving of 2009, i'm glad that it was a bit more eventful and productive.

since Chinese New Year is coming right next month, hubby suggested that we send my folks back home a package of goodies. i thought that was a great idea, so i bought a few traditional snacks and some of my dad's fave ramen and put it all in a box to be mailed out. when i looked at it, it didn't seem right without a card, so i decided to make one ( Read more... )

and the surprises just keep on coming! i got some birthday cards: one from the folks back home and an absolutely lovely handmade card from chiarents!! thank you Win!! i totally love it!! ^_^
