happy new year....with "poopoo"!
here's to the end of 2008! we don't plan on doing anything special as usual. we'll just be staying in and watching kohaku uta gassen like we've done since we've been together. maybe we'll make another akemashite ometedou video for the in-laws and everyone else. it will probably be much like the new years we had last year except that Kay will be running around instead of crawling, and we might not have our usual hot pot dinner since both of us have been having problems with our weight... hm, sounds pretty glum, eh?
on a lighter note, we'll have a whole four-day weekend because Jan 1st falls on a Thursday this year! the gov't here decided to make its people happy by giving us more holidays by saying that if any national holiday lands on a Tuesday or Thursday, we get the Monday or Friday off as well, automatically making that holiday four days long. :P so, even if we aren't gonna do anything special on New Year's Eve, we might make it up with something else over the weekend :)
