Summary: Minho is a typical student. He does his best to listen to his teachers, listen to his parents, listen to his hyung, be kind to everyone, to train hard for his athletics and study hard for school. He's a good boy but he's never felt it was anything bad until Kibum made being bad look so good.
Minho sighed again, mentally scolding himself. How could he have fallen asleep in class like that? Sure the substitute was beyond boring but why on the day that the principal had to check on their class. He slumped in the chair as he looked at the clock 2 hours left. He'd already finished his all homework even did some work to put himself ahead. The teacher supervising detention hadn't stayed but periodically checked in. Minho was the only student there so of course he knew the teacher was annoyed with wasting his time. The door opened he expected the teacher checking in but it was the principal with another student.
"Trying to dogde your punishment, loitering, smoking, and disobeying the dress code," Principal Yoo scoffed, "Why are you doing this huh? You've got great grades. You're a talented, good looking boy. You've got a good future why are you messing up like this?"
The boy doesn't answer. Principal Yoo sighed, "Come on Kibum-ah I know you miss Daegu but this isn't the way to deal with it. Just wait here."
Kibum takes a seat far from Minho. Minho recognizes the blond hair. He knows they're in the same grade. He's heard rumors about the blond gangster from Daegu but even in his boots and leather pants he doesn't look like a gangster pouting in detention. Minho did his best to steal glances without openly staring. The thing he noticed most after the blond hair of course was the clear, pale skin. For a high school boy it wasn't so typical. Kibum had the type of skin girls in his class spent their allowance trying to get. The skin actresses and idols cosmetics companies endorsed had.
Kibum caught him on his fifth glance, "Problem?"
Minho shook his head suddenly feeling intimidated. "No sorry."
Kibum stood walking over to Minho, "Do you have a phone?"
Minho nodded and Kibum huffed sitting in the desk beside him, "Can I borrow it? Yoo-sungsaenim confiscated mine."
Minho looked to the door, "What if the principal comes back or Kim sungsaenim? He told me he'd let me keep it but only if I don't use it."
Kibum gave him a smile full of aegyo that showed off his dimpled cheeks. "What's your name? How old are you?"
"Choi Minho, I'm a third year."
"I'm Kim Kibum, we're in the same year. Let's be friends Choi Minho," Kibum responded holding out his hand, "I'll be quick promise. I just want to text my friend that I'm running late."
Minho handed over the phone and Kibum nodded in a manner that suggested he was good at getting his way. "You're such a good boy Minho-ah." He replied after finishing. "I'm sneaking off now wanna come?"
"I don't want to get in any trouble."
"Minho why do you have a handsome face if you're just going to be boring?" Kibum scoffed. He pulled out a cigarette and stood, "Well if you're staying here continue to be a good boy ok." Kibum tucked the cigarette behind his ear walking to the windows. "Nnng I hate heights, so scary." He opened it, talking a deep breath. Minho watched as he hesitated. "Aaah it's too scary. Why is life like this?"
Yes, he concluded to himself Kibum was nothing like a gangster. "If it's so scary why are you doing it?"
"Because I don't want to waste my time here," Kibum whined, "I have things to do." He opened his bag pulling out a jump rope.
"You've done this before?" Minho said surprised by how prepared the blond was.
"I'm almighty and prepared for everything." Kibum replied tying the rope to the leg of the bookcase by the window. "This makes it a little less scary. It's a good thing it's only the second floor or I'd totally have to take my chances sneaking through the halls."
Minho stood as Kibum held the other end climbing into the window sill. "You're only going to get in more trouble escaping through the window."
A pink lip poked out, "Scary," He turned widened eyes to Minho, "It's a necessity but it never stops being scary besides I'm totally late. When they come back just tell them the truth. Principal Yoo won't scold you he knows how I am." He took a deep breath, "Be a good boy Minho."
Minho ran toward the window as Kibum lept off. Kibum landed safely. "Wah scary!" He heard the blond whine stumbling a bit before running off.
Just like Kibum said Principal Yoo believed him and even let him go early stating what felt like the hundredth time that day that Minho was a good student. Minho headed home with the image of Kibum leaping from the window. How the sun lit up his pale face, how he closed his eyes tight, and how his hair looked golden and glowing. He thought about what it would have been like to jump out of that window with Kibum. He wondered if he was a "good boy" then what was Kibum.

The next time Minho saw Kibum it was at the beginning of class. He'd been escorted in by Principal Yoo. This time he wore the uniform but a red plaid shirt was wrapped around his hips.
"This is Kim Kibum he's been transferred to this class." Their teacher started. "Please introduce yourself."
Kibum's strong gaze fixed on the class. "Hello I'm Kibum." He bowed slightly before scanning the class. Their eyes met briefly and Kibum grinned. "Take care of me for the rest of the year."
Their teacher nodded, "Please take a seat Kibum. Class I'm going to speak with Principal Yoo for a moment please read the next passage."
Kibum moved as soon as they had exited the class. "Hey you," He motioned toward the student sitting beside Minho. "That's my desk, move."
Just like that he scrambled from his seat moving to an empty one toward the back of class. Kibum turned to him with a smirk, "Hey did you happen to snag my jump rope for me?"
Minho blinked. "I put it back in the gym."
Kibum groan over-exaggerating, "Kids these days."
"We're the same age."
"I have experience." Kibum sighed pulling out a compact mirror and a pencil bag. "What are you doing after school?"
Minho watched in frozen, odd fascination as Kibum began to apply eyeliner. He shrugged, "Studying and gym training."
"That's boring," He commented, he handed the mirror to Minho, "Hold it up for me." Minho did as he was asked feeling anxious with the eyes of his classmates on him, "You're coming with me." Kibum continued lining his eye with meticulous precision. "You got money?"
Minho frowned, "What do you mean? I can't just skip training."
"Oh yeah that's right," Kibum smirked putting away his eye liner and taking the mirror from Minho's hand, "Choi Minho is a good boy."
Minho frowned he didn't like the way Kibum said that. It sounded like something to be pitied than a compliment.
He opened his mouth to reply but Kibum cut him off with a single sentence that made him speechless, "That's why I'm going to corrupt you."
