Home inspection in the morning!

I spent a large portion of the day drawing a map of my nation and brainstorming place names and plot. I spent more time on the map than I wanted, and thus didn't get much writing done, but now that I have it I think it's going to save me a lot of time in the long run. It's November, which is National Novel Writing Month. I've never seriously played along before. I'd considered trying this year, but my muse has been exceptionally quiet regarding plots. Only 1033 words today. When I first sat down to write this afternoon though I only managed about 68, so there was at least some improvement this evening. I may have finished Chapter Two, but I haven't decided yet.
