Pic of Brayan. This week.

My sister-in-law sent me a picture of their soon-to-be adopted son (my nephew) Brayan. He is 8 months old right now and from Guatemala. They were hoping to get him before Christmas but it looks as if they won’t get him till January or February. Jerry, Kylie, and I are thinking about flying up to North Dakota next summer to see them. Here is the picture of Brayan! I haven’t had time to upload Kylie’s new pics yet but I’ll try to put them up around Friday.

I thought the meme above was pretty funny! Of course my parents think I’m sleeping around- I’m married! Lol! And therefore I obviously already have a f-buddy!

Recap of past couple of days: Monday Kylie and I did some grocery shopping. That day I made homemade vegetable soup in the crock pot. I’ve made beef stew, chili and pinto beans in the crock pot before but it was my first time with veggie soup. It took a long time peeling and cutting the potatoes and carrots… I also added green beans from my Grandpa’s garden, rotolle noodles, chicken broth, and tomato dices. Hubby and his friend Jeremy (who was visiting us) both said it was the best vegetable soup they had ever had- better than store canned soups and other homemade soups. That made my day! I really like cooking now. I didn’t when we were first married.

Yesterday our cable was out for most of the day so Kylie watched the movie “Winnie The Pooh and Christmas Too.” while I did housework. She and I met up with Jerry and my mom for dinner at Chinatown. I had been craving Chinese and it was so yummy! Kylie got lots of attention, as always, from strangers! It poured the rain on the way home. I hate driving in rain!

Today has been good so far. I sent Kylie’s pageant form in the mail. I’m hoping we can get our Christmas decorations up today or in the next few days. If you took the time to read this, please respond. Thanks! My # of responders has cut in half in the last week or so. *pouts* I know you all are as busy as I am though. Thanks to all of you who do often! I’ve got to get ready to go to town for an appt. now.
