I just realized that I haven't updated my LiveJournal in over a month and, seeing as this is the second day in a row I haven't been to school, what better time than now?
I've been feeling pretty miserable these past few days and haven't been going to school. Not going to school makes me more miserable. But today's Friday. After babysitting, I'm excited about going down to the food pantry to volunteer for Thanksgiving. This is the third year; I love doing it.
A lot's happened in a month, most significantly my purchase of an auto-mobile. :)
I somehow managed to find the perfect car (thank you craigslist) for the perfect price. A black VW golf... I love it.
Now I can drive to school. The parking situation is a vicious, bloodthirsty freeforall and you have to get there before dawn if you want a decent spot in front of the school. Oh well.
I've been eating horribly. Once a month for three days I do this... french fries, chocolate, smartfood, french fries, chocolate, smartfood. That's my whole diet, ew.
So the holiday season sort of crept up on me. Thanksgiving's next week, that's crazy! We're not really doing much for Thanksgiving this year, again. I decorated my room for Christmas with some faux pine needles and a lightup candy cane, fabulous! I'm gonna get a (real) minitree to finish it off in a few weeks and decorate it with (real) candy canes, yummy. I spent two hours yesterday downloading a huge batch of holiday music. It's awesome. If anyone wants a burn of the A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, just ask, it's great.
My favorite part of the holidays is going down to the Burlington Mall and emptying my bank account on gifts for friends and family. There's nothing I like doing more with my money than buying awesome gifts for other people (except maybe buying awesome food for myself). I have some great ideas already.
So, with Christmas coming.......you all know what that means. Two days after? hmmmmmmmm
This year, I really just want to have a few close friends over. Emily needs to order me an exact replication of her confirmation party ice cream cake.
I'm gonna go take a shower.
