I may have just finally nailed down the first chapter of a story I've been working on for almost five years.  It feels really good.  I kind of want to go outside and run laps.  On the other hand, I kind of want to keep at this!

Just discovered a new perk to now having of the boyfriend: internets!  Dealing with the divorce and shite that goes with that, he hasn't gotten around yet to getting internet or cable at his place, and seeing how silly it was that I had internet and no computer and he had computer but no internet, he brought his fairly BA touch screen computer over ( Read more... )

I can't seem to make any part of this story NOT totally SUCK ASS.  It's just annoying me and I keep finding plot loops and holes and everything else a plot can do besides be chronological and fucking MAKE SENSE.  So for now, I give up.  For about the third time, concerning this story.  Maybe it's just not meant to be.  I don't think I ever really ( Read more... )

I realized this moring that in my excitement and haste to finish something - ANYTHING - that while I have turned a 2000 word failed experiment of a oneshot into a 7500 word story it has little to no real substance to it.  I have eighteen pages I'm afraid to read, assuming I'll hate everything I've written this week and want to start from scratch.  ( Read more... )

Who just added 1400 words to the story she started two and a half years ago?  Oh yeah, that would be me.

Some of my friends are total douche nozzles.  The perfect time to threaten to quit your job and get yourself FIRED is NOT when you have a three-month CHILD TO TAKE CARE OF.  I am so mad I could cry.

Going to channel that into more writing.
