Last fall I was asked to become the local TA/Reader/Tutor union's election committee person. Generally, my duties would include posting election notices once/quarter, and if necessary, running an election. In the UC system of schools, there are 3 types of professors; tenure track, tenured, and lecturer. Of course those professors who are in the tenure track or tenured are doing pretty well.
