It's true; when something is over, Jack leaves. His work is done, time to move on. After more than five years at his side, I'm used to it.

When I saw the slip of paper on my nightstand this morning, I didn't pay much attention to it. After Commander Cruger's announcement and Sky and Bridge's promotions, I remembered about it and raced back to the room I share with Syd.
Z, I feel that my work here is done, so I'm leaving, yadda yadda. No contact information, nothing that could let me know where he is now.
Do you really think you're going to get away with this, Jack Landors?
Ha. Of course not.
All Commander Cruger could tell me was that Jack was planning to go help out Ally, this girl he's been hanging out with for the past few weeks. She does the same that that Jack and I used to do together - give clothes to the poor.
A quick search through the base's civilians database gave me the information I needed. There's my lead - Samuels' Clothing. Tracking him down from there is going to be a piece of cake.
"Hey Syd, got any old clothes to donate?"
