nice thing about getting an early start! finally got finished updating my listing at careerbuilders.com. so that and hotjobs are up to date and i can pretty readily apply to at least some listings i get through those sites. saw a cool google listing out of their kirkland offices so i filled out an app while i was online. go info on two more gigs that looked worthwhile but i need to fill out some forms and such on those. need to have at least three apps a week out for the state but i'm always uncomfortable if i'm averaging less than five.
and, lo and behold! it's lunchtime! i even have to meal options in convenient leftover form to be heated and eated.... this afternoon's gonna mostly be pretty casual. gotta see if i can get the synthesizer and the new mac to recognize each other through the new midi interface. so, once i've done that, i'll probably focus on dome opera-related activities this afternoon. and then jump back online to see if i can slam out a couple more resumes. got some phone calls to make today too.
also, need to do some cleaning today, primarily in the kitchen and bathroom. i want the manager to come in 'cause the hot water pressure's just been ludicrously low recently. because it's such an old building, deposits or something build up in the pipes and he periodically has to hook this thing to a faucet and blow some air through to clean it out (my highly un-technical and possibly inaccurate understanding of the whole gig,
theo, game? sat., sun., o-town, t-town, etc...?
p.s. -- some potential gigs are rearing their ugly heads for march and april. just a heads up. more info when we declassify it!
