“I can’t believe this!” Junsu cried out in frustration as he stared out the window from their cabin.

Changmin crossed his arms as he leaned against the back of the couch in the small living room.

“Come on, it’s not that bad,” he replied with an amused smile.

“Not that bad?” Junsu queried turning around to look at the younger man.

Changmin shrugged his shoulders.

“No?”

Junsu shut his eyes, breathed in deeply and let it out slowly before opening his eyes again.

“It’s pelting down snow out there and we’re stuck in here until it dies down. This was not what I had in mind when we booked for a skiing vacation up in the mountains.”

Changmin just continued to smile which only aggravated his lover even further who turned back around to stare gloomily out the window.

The taller man counted to ten and when Junsu still didn’t move or say anything more, he stood up and walked over to the older man.

“Hyung-ah,” he mumbled wrapping his arms around the latter’s waist.

“What?” Junsu huffed out.

Changmin frowned. He wasn’t used to seeing his normally bubbly lover all grumpy and moody - that was his job in the relationship. Oh well, switching around every now and then wouldn’t hurt anyone.

“Our vacation isn’t totally ruined, just think, we could have been out there when the storm came. We’re lucky we were inside the cabin when it hit.”

Junsu opened his mouth but then quickly shut it again, biting his lip instead. He knew Changmin was right and that things weren’t really as bad as he seemed to be making it.

But he had been so excited when they’d finally made some free time for a vacation. God knows it’d been forever since they’d both taken a break from their respective workplaces.

He’d imagined himself skiing to his heart’s content, feeling the chill air hitting his body as he skied down the snowy mountains. But now they were stuck inside a cabin with no other choice but to wait for the sudden storm that had appeared to go away.

“But there’s nothing to do,” Junsu replied finally as he leaned back slightly into Changmin’s tall frame.

Changmin sensed his lover slowly weakening and grinned tightening his hold around the latter’s waist.

“We’ll figure something out.”

“Like?”

“Like just spending time together with each other? We’ve both been working extra hours lately and haven’t really had much time to talk at all. I miss hearing your voice.”

Junsu couldn’t help but giggle at that.

“Since when did you become so cheesy? I thought that was my job.”

“It was, but since you’re all grumpy and moody it’s now my job to make you happy,” Changmin replied.

Junsu sighed and turned around in their embrace to link his arms around Changmin’s neck.

“I’m sorry Minnie you know I’m not normally like this right?”

“Of course I know.”

Junsu smiled before leaning in and gently pressing their lips together.

---

Fifteen minutes later found the couple snuggled together on the couch with a blanket Junsu had taken from their bedroom wrapped tightly around their bodies. Two cups of hot cocoa sat on the coffee table beside them.

“Now isn’t this better than being grumpy and staring out the window all day?” Changmin teased lightly.

“You’re going to rub it in at every chance you get aren’t you?”

Changmin only buried his face against Junsu’s neck muffling his laughter.

Junsu huffed but wasn’t really angry about it. He was glad Changmin was trying his best to make things better for the both of them.

Even though on the outside Changmin always seemed snarky and nonchalant, in reality he had a soft spot for Junsu that he would only show very rarely - such as now.

“So how long do you think this storm will go for?” Junsu asked as he reached out to grab his mug of cocoa and take a sip.

“It’s hard to say, I think maybe another few days at least?” Changmin replied as he looked out through the window closest to where they were sitting.

Junsu sighed in contentment before placing the mug back on the table.

“I hope it doesn’t go any longer than that. But anyway since when did you learn to make such good cocoa?”

Changmin grinned and tightened his arms around Junsu’s waist.

“Since forever?”

Junsu turned around in the embrace to look his younger lover in the eyes.

“Then why is this the first time I’ve ever tasted it?”

“Because … I’ve never made it at home before? I didn’t know you liked drinking cocoa.”

“I like anything sweet, you know that,” Junsu said with a pout.

Changmin smiled and couldn’t resist leaning in to kiss it away.

“I’ll make it for you every day when we get back home okay?” he promised pulling back to smile at his lover.

“You better or else,” Junsu threatened, or tried to anyway before a silly grin formed on his face.

“Or else what?” Changmin replied playing along.

Junsu bit his lip in thought.

“Or else … no kisses for a week!”

Changmin looked at his lover with a raised eyebrow watching as Junsu’s cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

“No kisses for a week? Does this mean you’d rather drink cocoa I make every day over kissing me? That’s mean hyung,” Changmin admonished.

“Ahh I-I didn’t mean it that way,” Junsu quickly replied regretting his words.

“So you like kissing me more then?” Changmin really did enjoy teasing the older man.

“I like both,” Junsu stated firmly.

“You’re so greedy hyung,” Changmin said with a laugh.

Junsu huffed and was about to tell the latter off when he was cut off with another kiss to his lips.

“It’s okay though, because I love you,” Changmin whispered.

Junsu tried to keep a straight face but he couldn’t help but giggle at Changmin’s actions.

“I’m really not used this cheesy sappy side of you Minnie,” he said in between giggles.

This time it was Changmin’s turn to pout as he frowned at the man in his arms.

Junsu smiled and leaned in to rub their noses together.

“It’s okay though, because I love you too.”

“Now that was really sappy hyung,” Changmin pointed out.

Junsu chose not to reply and instead grabbed his mug and took another drink.

“You’ll make more for me when we get back home right?” he asked voice just a little bit doubtful.

“Of course,” Changmin replied before gripping Junsu’s wrist lightly and taking a sip out of the latter’s mug.

“Heyy drink from your own,” Junsu said as he reached over to grab the other mug off the table. But before he could wrap his fingers around it, Changmin reached out and stopped him.

“Isn’t it more romantic to share a drink?” he suggested putting on his most innocent look, complete with his wide doe eyes and kissable pout.

Junsu stared at the younger man for a few seconds before letting out a giggle and pulling his free hand back empty handed.

“Who are you and what have you done to my Minnie?”

Changmin just sipped at the drink hiding his smile behind the mug.

He could handle Junsu being happy, cute, childish and even on his random sugar highs. But if there was something he couldn’t handle, it was Junsu being angry or upset. A frowning or frustrated Junsu just didn’t look right in Changmin’s opinion.

Looking at Junsu now giggling and smiling, Changmin thought even if it meant ruining his normally ‘cool’ reputation, it would all be worth it just to see his lover smiling and happy again.

---

A few days later …

Junsu wrinkled his nose at the sweet aroma in the air pulling him away from his dreams. Opening his eyes blearily he came face to face with a smiling Changmin right in his line of vision.

“Minnie?”

Changmin held up a mug of something in his hand in response.

Junsu’s face turned to one of curiosity as he pushed himself upright to a sitting position.

“Cocoa,” Changmin supplied helpfully.

Junsu’s eyes widened as he looked down at the contents in the mug; it was no wonder he could smell a sweet aroma before.

Taking the mug out of Changmin’s grip, Junsu grinned and whispered a quick thank you before taking a sip.

Changmin just grinned as he got up from where he was kneeling on the floor and took a seat beside Junsu on the bed. Junsu wriggled around making room for him and then shuffled around some more until Changmin was settled comfortably behind him so he could lean back against the latter back to chest.

It was late in the morning and Changmin had been in the living room reading a book on the couch while Junsu had decided to go back to sleep after discovering it had only been eight in the morning.

“You really like sitting like this don’t you?” Changmin said with an amused smile watching as Junsu continued to sip on the warm beverage.

“You make a comfortable couch,” Junsu replied simply.

“Is that all I’m good for, being a comfortable couch?” Changmin asked leaning forward to rest his chin on Junsu’s shoulder.

Junsu smiled and held the mug in one hand while he placed the other hand on top of Changmin’s which were around his waist.

“Of course not, you make good hot cocoa too,” Junsu said with a grin turning his head a bit to see Changmin pouting.

“Is that all?” Changmin mumbled with a sigh.

Junsu grinned and pressed a kiss to the younger man’s cheek.

“And you’re the best lover anyone could ever have. It’s just too bad that they can’t have you because you’re mine and I don’t like to share.”

Changmin smiled in agreement. He wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

They sat there for a few minutes before Changmin finally broke the silence.

“By the way the storm’s blown over now. We got a call from the main community centre saying everything is okay now. I’d say it should be fine to go out by late this afternoon. Did you want to go out today?”

“Really?” Junsu said with a gasp.

“Mhmm.”

Junsu glanced around contemplating his options. He was in bed with his lover, a cup of hot cocoa in his hands and feeling more content that he had been in awhile. Meanwhile it would most likely be freezing outside and he had a feeling that if he walked out right now he’d be knee deep in snow.

“No it’s okay, I want to stay in today,” he finally replied before taking another sip from the mug.

Changmin quirked an eyebrow having fully expected Junsu to be jumping up and down in joy at finally being able to go outside.

“Are you sure? Just a few days ago you were whining about being stuck in here in the cabin with nothing to do …”

Junsu set the mug down on the bedside table beside them before turning around to face the younger man.

“Of course I’m sure. Why would I want to go outside when I have the perfect couch here to sit on and a nice mug of cocoa to keep me warm?”

Changmin scoffed even though at the same time he tightened his hold around Junsu’s waist pulling the older man closer so he ended up straddling his hips.

“Why don’t you just say you’d rather spend the time with me indoors instead of going around it the hard way?”

Junsu smiled wrapping his arms around Changmin’s neck as he pretended to be deep in thought.

“Hmm maybe it’s because I’ve been hanging around a certain someone for too long and his bad habits have rubbed off on me …”

“That’s not good. Maybe you should stay away from this certain someone then hmm?”

Junsu gasped and then pouted.

“Are you trying to get rid of me?”

“Now why would I want to do that? If you were gone I wouldn’t have anyone to wake up to in the morning and no one to come home to after work. There’d be no one there to comfort me when I’m having a bad day, cheering me up by singing or making me laugh by telling me lame oyaji gags,” Changmin replied stating just a few of the many reasons as to why Junsu was so important to him in his life.

Junsu couldn’t help but giggle at how serious yet sweet Changmin was being right now.

“Am I that important in your life?” he couldn’t help but ask.

Changmin smiled and pulled Junsu closer so that their faces were only inches apart.

“Yes,” he replied before closing the rest of the distance between them and pressing their lips together.

Junsu smiled into the kiss letting Changmin take the lead. When he felt Changmin’s tongue probing for permission he gladly parted his lips, a small moan escaping as their tongues touched.

Changmin kept it slow and gentle, never rushing, taking his time to explore Junsu’s cavern which earned him small whimpers and moans.

When they finally parted, Changmin traced Junsu’s bottom lip with his tongue one last time before pulling back.

“You taste like cocoa,” he said with a grin.

Junsu wondered if that was a good or a bad thing.

“Remind me to keep my promise and make you at least one cup of cocoa a day when we get back home,” Changmin said offhandedly.

Junsu guessed it was a good thing then … maybe.

“So wait you want to kiss me just because I taste like cocoa? That’s kind of mean Minnie,” Junsu said with a gasp repeating the same thing Changmin had said just a few days earlier.

Changmin just chuckled.

“No, I don’t want just the taste of cocoa. I want the taste of cocoa and you together,” he corrected.

“Oh … oh I see,” Junsu replied trying to squash down the butterflies in his stomach.

“So … since you don’t feel like going outside today, how about we just spend the day in bed hmm?” Changmin suggested while slipping his hands past Junsu t-shirt to caress the warm skin underneath.

Junsu’s breath hitched and he could only shyly nod his head in response.

Changmin smiled and pressed a gentle kiss to Junsu’s lips as he slid their bodies down until he was lying on his back with Junsu on top.

“It’s not so bad anymore now right?” Changmin whispered in between a set of kisses he trailed down Junsu’s neck.

“W-what isn’t so bad anymore?” Junsu managed to gasp out in between small whimpers.

“This vacation trip, it’s not as bad as you’d thought it’d be right?”

Junsu smiled. Only Changmin would talk serious matters while attempting to leave a mark on his neck.

“No, definitely not. In fact I think it’s one of the best vacations I’ve ever had.”

Changmin grinned and kissed his way back up until his lips were ghosting over the shell of Junsu’s ear.

“I love you,” he whispered.

Junsu smiled and pulled back to look into the younger man’s eyes.

“I love you too Minnie. Thank you … for everything,” and by everything Junsu meant Changmin being there with and for him, not giving in to the urge of starting an argument, and just doing his best to make Junsu happy again when the storm had hit them a few days ago.

If it had been the other way around, Junsu knew he most probably would have lost his cool and they would have ended up ignoring each other for the rest of their vacation.

Changmin returned the smile with one of his own and rolled them over gently reversing their positions.

“It’s what lovers do right? And besides I don’t like seeing you upset or angry. I prefer you as the happy cute sweet Junsu rather than the grumpy frustrated moody Junsu,” Changmin explained with a grin.

“I’ll be happy if you keep to your promise of making me cocoa every day,” Junsu said with a giggle.

“Hmm you get your daily dose of cocoa and I get my daily dose of Junsu-cocoa flavoured kisses. Sounds good to me,” Changmin replied before leaning down and pressing another gentle kiss to his lover’s lips.

A/N: I hope everyone enjoyed reading this ^^ it's my first MinSu fic so I'm a bit nervous as to how well I portrayed their characters here >3<
Hopefully I didn’t make Changmin’s character too OOC here hahaha~ but I’m sure that deep down past that snarky side of him there’s this sweet side that he reserves especially for Junsu hehehe :3
