(no subject)
Well I found somewhere to watch the World Cup final today. =) Although, the final was actually shown on one of the 3 channels we get at the cottage, so I didn't really need to go to the Ruby Tuesday's in Bangor. Oh well!!
I decided to order a dessert so that I could just sit and watch the entire game in the restaurant. The chocolate tallstack (or something) sounded like a good idea. But when it arrived at the table, I couldn't believe my eyes. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I noticed that the delicious-but-deadly dessert was as big as my head. Ok so not quite... but it was awfully close. So I had a fun time tackling my sugary obstacle while watching the final match.
France did pretty well through most of the game... but all hope was lost when Zidane suddenly thought it'd be a good idea to head-butt one of the Italians and get himself a red card. ::sigh:: ooh, Zidane.... what WERE you thinking? *shakes head* Ah well, no matter. Italy has a pretty good team too... so I guess it's ok that they beat France. Haha. At any rate... it was a fun match to watch. Even if I watched most of it by myself. There were random boys that worked at Ruby Tuesday's that would come by and watch for a few minutes and comment on the match... and my Mom and Aunt were there for the overtime, so I didn't see all of it alone. meh.
On a completely different subject... I think I'm kind of homesick. I don't know what it is... I'm not enjoying Maine as much as I usually do. Don't get me wrong... I still am loving it. But it just seems weird somehow... It's probably just since I've been away for so long or something... and eh, I dunno. My mom's calling me now so maybe I ought to get back to the cottage.
