Pictures of the Painting Project
It's snowing here again. Yay. I'd say we have about 4-5 inches right now so we'll likely get only 2-3 before this bit of the storm is over. The fun part is going to be tomorrow when they are talking sleet, freezing rain, and rain. I'm hoping for rain! Some flooding of streets would be better than widespread power outages I think. Actually what I'm hoping for is spring. *g* Everyone in the storm stay safe...

What we had before was a kind of grey-blue. It looked pretty when it was up but seeing bits of it now that my eyes have adjusted to this very bright and saturated color and it seems muddy and dull. The color we almost painted (that I thought was too dark) was about half way in between the two colors we have now. It would have been too much and also not enough contrast to the deep color. I think it looks lovely now though!
