5th Revolution: I am not amused

I've never understood the entire point behind this day. For one day out of the year, people like to spend extravagant amounts of money in order to prove just how much they love one another. To think that people have changed the true meaning behind the term into the accumulation of material objects. Surely there are some who can hold true to the untainted belief of love - the desire to go for what you want and not what you think you should have. To crawl forward through anything and caring for somebody more than you care for yourself and to ask for help from that one person no matter if you're feeling pride, fright, or embarassment.

For self doubt and confusion fades away, but true love remains forever.  Also why spend one day telling somebody that you love them when you should be doing that every chance you get?

not hit by a curse, valentine's day, do i look like charlie brown?
