Puking Chihuahua
Have you ever seen vomit that looks like this?
My 6 month old chi has been puking this off and on since Thursday I believe, by off and on I mean he puked Thursday, didn't puke Friday, puked this morning at 445am. He eats wet Natural Balance Duck and Potato. My boyfriend thinks I may be over feeding him but he's gotten the same amount for a couple of months and he pukes 4-6 hours after he eats. He is still pooping, although it isn't as huge as normal, and peeing. His poop doesn't look any different, there is just less of it.
Thinking about it now the puking started a day or so after he was straining to poop and was crying. I almost took him to the vet then but he eventually did poop and acted perfectly fine afterwards.
The more I think about it the more worried I am that he may have a bowel obstruction.
He is playing and eating normally, generally acting like a happy puppy until he pukes, then he is pitiful, takes a nap and wants to play some more.
Any ideas?
