Now, I don't know if this person is actually a member of this community, but since its Chi related - I thought Id post it here.
Ive been following the blog of this chick and her dog Nutella for some time now. She makes me angry. Her blog:
http://www.nutellabella.com/updates.htm This dog seems to have been suffering for quite some time now. While she's had ups and downs with her health, what is the quality of life she's had?
I could care less if all of the dogs clothing and bedding are designer - I could care less how much money she's spent on her really..
When I read things like this:
I gave Nutella the Tuberculinum last week but she has not improved much at all over the weekend. She is very lethargic still. My mother has been visiting her during the day while Im at work these past couple days and she says that Nutella will not get up for her at all. She just stays in her bed and will not move. She will eat the cheese that my mom gives to her as a snack, but she will not get up to walk around or go to the bathroom...
Or even better:
...Her smell is really becoming quite a problem too. Not for me at all. I am so used to it that it's become kind of a comfort to me! But whenever we have visitors it's really embarrassing. They can't stand the smell and I have to light candles and put her in another room. All you have to do is walk into a room with her in it and the smell is really overpowering. It's definitely all coming from her ears, not really her scabs from what I can tell. It's a very moist and moldy smell, like smelly feet or old cheese.
Maybe this belongs in that community "Stupid Pet Owners" - I'm not sure - but I did post it for a reason.
Here is my question to you all:
Where does that line lie between loving your pet, and "not giving up" and doing the right thing them?
Just curious to see what others think.
