Was back in Edinburgh today to choose my outside courses. I ended up going with Italian, Spanish, Social Anthropology and of course, Linguistics. The Italian and Spanish ones are just semester long ones, introductory courses. No previous knowledge of either language is required which is a good thing since I don't know about either! I would've done German but it clashed with Social Anthropology, so I went with Italian.

My meeting with my Director of Studies was at 2.30pm, so I arrived in Edinburgh at about half past noon, to give me time to check out the Societies Fair before the meeting. The Fair was largely disappointing, no Pro Evolution Soccer society in sight, and the Gaming Society was more about PC Gaming I think, which doesn't interest me at all. I did join the Football Supporters Association though, as well as the Indie Society(hopefully meet some people with sweet taste) and Film Society. After finding where the fair was, it took all of 10 minutes to get through the crowd and see all the booths, so it was about 1pm and I still had an hour and a half to kill. So I went to Avalanche to look at CDs and records and there was nowt there really, then bought a bottle of lemonade cos it was ROASTING and sat for about 40 minutes listening to music. Then I checked out the Trade Fair again to see if anything was different, it was, as in it was much worse than yesterday, and deserted. Nowt interesting there, but by then it was finally time for the meeting, so off I popped. I got there at 2.30pm and was out by 2.33pm, basically just went in, told him the subjects I wanted to do, and left. Then it was time to go home!

Got back to Whitburn, bought milk and Weetos, went home. Which brings us to now. Once I got back it was mostly just sitting around. Well, that's a lie, it was ALL just sitting around.

In other news, The Ergs! new CD Hindsight Is 20/20, My Friend came out the other day! It's basically a CD of tracks from 7"'s and compilations, remastered and all that. Will probably get it on 12" when it comes out as well! Really bummed to hear about them breaking up soon though, add them to the growing list of bands I'll never see, I guess :(

Classes start on Monday but until then my schedule is completely bare. Well, except on Sunday I should be going to Edinburgh for a spot of football with the Supporters Association, since I am a member *puts on cool hat*

More than likely though I won't be posting again til Monday, not that what I have to say right now(or ever) is interesting anyway, mind you ;)
