It begins...
Was in Edinburgh today for university gubbins. Had to get up at 8.30am to make it there in time for 11am, bloody rubbish so it is... So anyway the introductory meeting was a bit boring, especially the bit about Psychology. I was thinking about picking that as an outside course but not a chance now, I was interested in things like the Milgram Experiment but there wasn't even mention of any stuff like that. So now I'm thinking of doing social anthropology and introductory Italian and Spanish (a semester of each, no previous knowledge of either language necessary). I meet my Director of Studies again tomorrow to talk about it and get the outside courses finalised, so woop.
After the introductory meeting and a brief stop over at my DoS's office to make an appointment with him, I went to the Academic Fair. It was shite, it was far too crowded and I just left after 5 minutes, couldn't be arsed waiting in a massive queue to hear mince about subjects I mostly don't care for. So I headed off to the Trade Fair, which was just basically walking around a square of booths getting free stuff, some pens and a cup and some sweets, yum.
Then I went to Unknown Pleasures (record shop down the Royal Mile) and bought Songs Of Leonard Cohen, just cos I can't help myself when it comes to things like that.
Stopped off at a couple of music shops as well, wasn't anything particularly sexy in either, but a couple of the American Standard Stratocasters were nice, couple of good sunburst ones. Nothing comparable to either of the beauties I want to chuck a third of my SAAS money away for though. Look and LOVE :

Gibson Les Paul, Alpine White. Played by Blake Schwarzenbach of Jawbreaker ;) Obviously I would want a right-handed one, not a leftie as pictured...
I've been playing the guitar I have more and more, was playing 27 by Biffy Clyro earlier (badly), jumping about the room and such :P
Anyway...Societies Fair tomorrow before I meet the DoS for outside courses. Hopefully there'll be a few there to catch my fancy, looking forward to it.
