Oh man, this side was pretty rough...I made a lot of mistakes that I had to cover up. I feel even guiltier working on these now that classes have started and I have homework to deal with on top of everything else, but I'm so close to finishing now I can TASTE it. Just ooooone side left!!!
This is what it looks like right after I use the transfer paper and begin doing the outlines. This part of the process is as tedious and labor intensive as it looks.
Finished outlines, I use a kneaded eraser to get the red junk off.
I had to do a lot of backpedaling with this design. For some reason I looove leaving all this negative space between characters when designing the lineart, which results in me having to improvise ways to break up the giant solid chunks of color. Also, I think I repainted that pinkish/purpley part 5 times because I couldn't decide what color went best.
Ugh Jack's tattoos....I tried =/ I like her pose best out of the group, I had no idea what to do with Jacob so he's just chillin' in the back.
