You can do it with House (S. S. Holmes, with all three Ducklings as crew), or Harry Potter (S. S. Hermione, with Captain Weasley at the helm being nagged OMG constantly,) or even Exploitation Now (Jordan as the pilot, Bush hella pissed off at being stuck in the ship)! Oh please oh please write things for this!
Emily, I'm specifically challenging you! Use it as a good way to get a grasp on one or two specific characters, if you want; use two characters that I've never even HEARD of, if you want; but I CHALLENGE you to write a short fic! Less than 15,000 words! (That's long, for a one-shot fic, by the way; you have plenty of room here. But I know you're into writing novels, so, challenge!)
