(no subject)
Ok...so work, umm...as soon as I got there I found out that since were getting so close to Halloween apparently there need to be 4 people in full costume at all times. so, we were picking costumes. And one way or another, I get tricked into wearing the inflatable ballerina. (Heres a picture of it:http://www.hard2buy4.co.uk/Gadgets-and-Boys-Toys/Jokes/4310) Yes, I wore this thing for 8 hours today, and I still had to help people and clean the store, needless to say,...it was amusing. There were some people who laughed and then some people who stared, and then there were the ones that pretended I wasnt there and avoided me at all costs, I didnt like them. Anyway, umm...yeah, it was like a fucking sauna in there too.
Anyway, I was in Accessories (again!!) and I was like the head Access. girl and I had E.T. and Jon helping me, E.T. is new and I liked him, he was funny, but anyway, Jon E.T. and I kept talking like we would congregate back by the make-up and talk, one time my headset was on Voice Activated and the General Manager heard me telling E.T. how Ill be graduating early, I felt fucking stupid, and really really bad. There werent many people over in Accessories, and the ones that were didnt want help, and it was still early so it was clean but...apparently we arent allowed to talk, Delores yelled at Jon and I once, and then she pulled me aside and was..lecturing me, then E.T. sorta wandered over to see whats happening and she started yelling at us again, and what sucked was I kept taking the blow for all 3 of us. Anyway after that I avoided both the guys at all costs (which isnt easy when you're 3 feet around and have 4 aisles to walk through) and was literally (almost) attacking every single person I saw in those aisles, and damn was I good! I sold 9 accessories to one girl, I was making up a bunch of shit, I was fucking awesome! Not to mention that my costume which no one had even bought one all season...we sold 5 today, because I was wearing it! Yay! And I was on sale for $30 today. (The customers were telling me I was cheap, E.T. enjoyed that)
Anyway, Delores wouldnt let me and E.T. go on break at 1:30 which is when the 10:00 shift is supposed to, but we were in trouble so we let it drop. But it sucked because my father was leaving at 2, so I had no ride anywhere. The next few hours, we worked our asses off and then around 3:15 I went over to E.T. and asked if he had his break yet, neither of us did, so I was telling him that last week Delores actually yelled at someone for NOT taking a break. Well of course Delores sees us talking and comes over and is jokingly yelling at us, "I dont care if I just made a $400 sale because of you guys (YEAH BABY!)that doesnt mean you can talk" And E.T and I are like "Well arent we supposed to be getting a break sometime soon" And Delores proceeded to laugh and say "Oh shit" We didnt find it funny, we had both been there almost 6 hours and hadnt even been able to get away for a drink. So Delores let me off right then and E.T. got off as soon as I got back. It was an ok day I guess. Later after I got serious Delores was helping me fix my costume's fan so I could stay inflated (JON BROKE ME! haha) and she told me she was proud of me. That made me happy. The workers I was ok with today, everyone I liked was there, Oh! Ron showed up which..surprised me cause he usually doesnt work on Sat. but he showed up, and laughed at me, and then disappeared to the cash registers up front so we didnt really talk, and Steve, Sasha, and Sandy were all there today, plus Jon and E.T. but..yeah, Lyn was also there today. E.T. and I were talking about her, and he actually asked me "Is she like, one of our managers?" Im like "No, but you would think so" She's such a bitch, I mean...come on, we know what we're doing. And ok, Im nice to her and I guess I get along with her, but...when you have 3 hours of sleep, you're on your period, you're lonely, and unloved. Someone like that is going to piss you off.
So..that was my day, Oh, and I played frogger with the cars to cross the street and get lunch at Burger King (Yuck!) Anyway, umm I got home, napped, had nightmares about work (literlly) then woke up felt extremely dirty and just about ran to the shower. Ok, Im shutting up now.
I have to work 11-5 tomorrow, hmph! =( Im tired of work right now.
