okay i have to confess

Ever since Sims Hospital retired, I was a bit lost on what to do with my spare time when I'm fed-up tired of doing my uni work.

Then while I was surfing websites for flash games I came across this game that was reminscently like Restaurant City. but it was so empty there, so I quit after a while. Then I went back fb to check if RC was still up, thought I could go back to play it for a while... manage a business virtually y'know. Turned out they retired that game. Turned out that everyone moved on from FB games and they decided to take that step or for some whatever reason I did not bother to find out.

I have  tendency to catch on late with certain stuff. i even started words with friends late so I'm only playing it with a few guys - one of them is a fb friend and she's destroying me with her TW, DW words. and I like playing these mindless games where it's just me organising a virtual tower, shop, someone's life, restaurant, hospital, clothing store, etc. I'm a virtual budding entrepreneur. If only I could earn real money from this.

Anyways so I went to do some searching on the fb app store (it's stream-lined now, which is pretty cool) and came across a new game that is exactly what I was looking for. *cue the drum roll*

Market Land.

it's a virtual retail business. you order goods that takes a certain amount of time with different kind of suppliers, and if you don't collect them in time they get damaged which you can use a card to renew them for and you stock goods. customers come in and you can reward them with a shopping gift card to increase their budget, you clean up the dirt that magically piles up on the shop floor and you occasionally charge the so-called "attraction" structure you set-up in your shop (which can be the shopping cart of the speakers) - which is also something that increases the budget of the customer. Basically, the more budget the customer has, the more money they will likely spend at your shop. win!

there are quests in this shop, which you get them as you level-up or seasonal ones like the christmas ones they have right now.

actually it gets all pointless and repetitive after a while. it's lonely there cos i'm the only one refusing to grow up playing this game in my entire fb friends list i need new ones but the graphics are adorable.
