Re: my second to last post, those of you that read it know that I've been corrosponding with a young man from England. He immigrated to the UK when he was 12, but he's Russian. Though he speaks English with what Americans would consider a British accent, and with what his mates would consider an American accent. Yes, arguing with my mother really did wonders for my day. It went from mediocre to downhill about as fast as yesterday, except yesterday we were in public, while today we were inside with the very observant, and suddenly very quiet neighbors outside.

Tomorrow I'm going to see the head of the department for the graduate school I want to get into, and the likelyhood of me being allowed entrance next year is slim to none.
