Title: Everything about you is mine [AUGUST FLUFFY MONTH PROJECT]
Author:
kame_kiyumi Pairing: Akame
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Romance, friendship, crack, humor, fluff
Summary: People are often passing by one another without sparing another glance. People often don’t take things around them seriously nor do they realize that their right one is just in front of them. They are too blind to see that. So what should be done? In here, Jin and Kame are just like any other normal people. They are classmates, they are friends. They bicker, they quarrel, and they get upset with each other but will make up again later. And the loop goes on. Yet no one is tired of this. Why? In addition, when one couldn’t resist the Nature’s temptation to confess, will they get their happy ending in the end? (Bad summary I know. You just need to read the fic then you’ll understand. >.< Gomen!)

Part 1:
“You know, you shouldn’t have touched my books last night! Now I couldn’t find them at all!” Jin shrieked, frustration was obvious on both his face and in his tone. He messed up his neatly-styled hair and was on the verge of pulling certain strands out. He had flipped furniture over and combed thoroughly through almost all the possible places but to no avail.
“I had merely borrowed them for reference!” Kazuya defended himself mutinously. “And I did return them back to their original places!”
Jin raised a mocking eyebrow. “Oh really? Then tell me why are they missing now?!”
“How the hell would I know? Maybe they ran away?” Kazuya huffed precariously without sparing a careful thought over his words.
Jin just gaped at Kazuya in disbelief. ‘Is he a moron?’ He breathed in deeply, trying to chill down as much as possible before speaking in a more convivial way. “Kamenashi-kun, think carefully again. Did you bring it to somewhere else instead of placing it back to where it’s supposed to be?”
Kazuya contemplated for a second before replying a firm “no.”
Jin then tried to pry more, hoping that this method would make the younger one remembered bits and pieces of his memory gradually. “Or maybe you had accidentally brought it to elsewhere else, after that just sort of forgot about it and left it there?” He asked patiently.
Deafening silence….
“Oh… wait. I think I know where your books are.” A penitent answer finally came.

Due to the vast amount of time taken up for searching the books, both Jin and Kazuya were late by the time they reached their classroom. But luckily for them, the teacher had not stepped into the classroom yet. What puzzled their friends were, wasn’t their shared apartment just a ten minutes walk away from the school? So why were they late? They were seldom late for classes anyway, at least not for Jin.
Kazuya and Jin walked through the door breathlessly and panting hard from the previous high-speed running, they dragged themselves tiredly to their respective seats and plopped down in a huff. Kazuya was sitting behind in the classroom with his best friends, Koki and Nakamaru whereas Jin was seated in front of the classroom with his own best friends, Tatsuya and Junno.
“What’s wrong, Jin? Why were you late?” Tatsuya asked inquisitively.
“Go, direct that question of yours to that idiot behind.” Jin replied in between his panting, at the same time, pointing his right thumb to the back beside his right ear.
Tatsuya turned behind and saw Kazuya, who was also trying to catch his breath and was glaring hard at nowhere in front of him. Tatsuya turned back to Jin and questioned calmly, “What did he do this morning?”
Before Jin could reply, Junno interrupted, “I know! He must have woken up late today!”
Jin glared at Junno grudgingly with an ‘are-you-an-idiot-who-is-pissing-me-off-purposely’ expression. “No. He did not. Even if he did, I would have just left the house on my own.”
“Then what exactly had happened?” Tatsuya asked patiently again. He just knew how to deal with this side of Jin.
“That idiot, he took my books for reference last night but he had forgotten where he had placed them, thus taking up so much of our time this morning to search for them.”
Junno and Tatsuya nodded understandingly. Junno then inquired, “So did you found it afterall?”
Jin grunted antagonistically. “Yeah… and guess where they were.”
Tatsuya asked, “Where?”
“In the toilet.”
That simple answer caused Tatsuya and Junno to roar out in laughter, which only pissed Jin off and caused him to fume further.
“Shut up.” Jin hissed lowly. “He’s really an idiot, alright? I don’t know why the hell I am putting up with him.”
“Well, if you need a truthful answer, just ask your heart ‘why’, and you will get it.” Tatsuya winked.

On the other hand, at the same time as Jin had settled down on his rightful seat, Kazuya had arrived at his own seat at the back of the classroom as well.
“Ne, Kame-chan, what’s wrong? Why were you…,” Koki pointed his finger at Jin’s back, “and Jin late?”
“We were searching for that idiot’s reference books.” Kazuya mumbled vilely, crossing his arms across his chest at the same time.
“Really? You’ve helped him?” Nakamaru was skeptical at Kazuya’s claim. “Jin isn’t one who will misplace his stuffs easily.”
“Of course. Because I was the one who was using them previously.” Kazuya grumbled again.
“Okay… and you lost them?” Koki guessed.
Kazuya nodded blankly.
“Did you ask for Jin’s permission before you took them?” Koki then asked.
Kazuya shook his head penitently.
Koki sighed. “Kame-chan, you should have known by now after living with Jin for three months. One of the rules, he doesn’t like others to take his things without permission. Hell, no one likes that. Much more, you’ve lost them.”
“But it’s only for reading! It’s not like I’ve lost them on purpose. How the hell would I know I would misplace them? I thought I have returned them to their original places last night.” Kazuya grumbled unhappily.
“But did you manage to find them?” Nakamaru asked in concern.
Kame nodded his head again.
“Where?”
“In the toilet.” Kazuya answered truthfully without sparing another thought.
Koki and Nakamaru stilled upon hearing that answer and burst out laughing madly next, almost at the same time with Tatsuya and Junno.
“Kame-chan, you really need to thank the God for looking after you.” Koki said in the midst of his laughing spree. “You’re great, Kame-chan…”
“Why?” Kazuya asked curiously.
“Because you’re still in one piece.” Nakamaru said.
Kazuya frowned and squeezed his eyebrows together. “What do you mean?”
“You see, if it’s others who have done the same thing like you, I’m hundred percent sure that that person would have gotten an earful of harsh lecture from Jin. Or maybe even got thrown out from the apartment.” Koki explained explicitly.
“Okay… then tell me, why am I the exception one?” Kazuya frowned again.
“That’s for us to know, for you to find out.”

Kamenashi Kazuya, a carefree and spontaneous person who likes to enjoy his life to the fullest, is studying in the same school with his few best friends and his annoying-yet-adorable-in-his-own-eyes-and-he-won’t-tell-anyone roommate, Akanishi Jin.
Kazuya likes to go clubbing and party all night long at least once every week. In addition, he could be as childish as he wanted to, as comparable to having a three year old kid living inside him. And one thing Kazuya certainly loves to do is to whine and talk like a spoiled brat and he knew his friends would definitely give in to him.
Akanishi Jin, a meticulous and rational person who will always tend to think a lot before going down into actions. He is currently studying in the same school with his few best friends and his irritating-yet-he-could-not-leave-him-alone roommate, Kamenashi Kazuya. If you were to go to him for advice, he would offer you matured and logical answers.
Jin doesn’t really likes to go out to party but he can be a fun person to hang out with as well. Since he could offer good, useful advices, friends always tend to look for him and talk to him.

Later on, Koki, Nakamaru, Junno and Tatsuya had arrived at the canteen first before Kazuya and Jin joined them shortly after. Kazuya sat down at the table first before Jin took the seat beside him. They sat down side by side naturally without noticing the weird knowing stares their friends had been giving them. It’s not right to sit side by side with the one whom you have just quarreled with a few hours ago, aye?
At least in Jin’s case, that’s not a problem since he didn’t find that as an issue. But for Kazuya, he found it quite disturbing and uncomfortable though he didn’t speak up or mentioned anything.
While all of them were busy chomping down the food hungrily, Jin reminded Kazuya to pass him his part of the rental fee of their shared apartment by the end of the week.
Kazuya just merely nodded his head and continued to chomp down on his food.
“Oh yes, remember to keep away your utensils and throw away the rubbish after your dinner tonight, ne? It’s your duty tonight.” Jin nagged on while pointing his fork at Kazuya.
“Okay, Mother.” Kazuya answered uninterestedly.
Jin’s eyebrow twitched dangerously but he continued nevertheless. “And also, please remember to do your laundry when you get home later. Don’t leave them lying around everywhere. It’s not pleasant should there be visitors coming to the apartment.”
To others, it might seemed like Jin was acting like a neat freak thus nagging at Kazuya to keep the place clean and tidy but in reality, only Jin and their close friends could see beyond the point that he was actually caring for Kazuya’s welfare but well, that’s the only thing he wouldn’t admitted to anyone easily.
“I’m sure Kame knows how to behave and take care of his own things.” Nakamaru said but was ignored by the rest who were waiting intently what’s going to enfold in front of them.
Kazuya smirked and leaned nearer towards Jin, speaking into his ears directly, hence causing Jin to blush slightly. “Like there will be any visitors, my dear Jinjin.” Then Kazuya leaned back, “oh seriously, I don’t know why am I your roommate.”
Jin, still blushing and feeling a bit flustered, he stuttered with his reply. “A-ask yourself that.” He flinched at his own tone; his tone sounded like it’s going to expose his helplessness, helpless at being teased by Kazuya like this.
Kazuya actually pondered over that question seriously, totally oblivious to Jin’s reaction. “Why…? Really.” Kazuya tapped his finger gently against his chin. “I only remembered I needed a place to stay and it should be nearer to the school so that I won’t be late for my lessons.” Jin glanced at Kazuya briefly, thinking on why the smaller man was really thinking hard over this trivial issue. “Oh! Just nice, you’re the only person who lived alone, so it has to be you then.” Kazuya finally concluded.
‘He can be really stubborn huh?’ Jin face-palmed. ‘But he can be really cute sometimes.’
“Thank you. You have just answered your own question.” Junno laughed out at Jin’s witty answer, soon joined by the rest of the group.
That caused Kazuya to pout and rolled his eyes at Jin childishly.
