1. Don't bring a child to a restaurant, period. If you have the money to go out, you have the money for a babysitter. If money is tight and you have just enough to go out to dinner, down-grade the level of restaurant so that you can afford the babysitter so that you can go out and enjoy your night out, and so can everyone else around you.
