Two years go today, with the words "It is so ordered," the Supreme Court made me a married man from sea to shining sea. Keep your fingers crossed.

Getting drowsy on our anniversary. That's okay because he's in Rainier at his folks' place. They took two big bucks and his help is needed to butcher, so off he went after we hung out a bit after work. Work night for me anyway!

Today the Supreme Court declared same-sex marriage bans unconstitutional, with the words "It is so ordered." I am a married man, from sea to shining sea.

Prop 8 is dead. DOMA is dead. Still legal strangers in Missouri, but we will have a Washington marriage license. We'll see how equal "equal" is. See my entry from May 15, 2008.

Today Barack Obama took the oath of office for the fourth, and one supposes the last, time. Then he mentioned gay people needing to be free and equal in his inaugural address.

the state of North Carolina passed Amendment One, a hateful law excluding me out of what "marriage" means there; not much later, President Obama said he thinks same-sex couples should have the right to marry. Now we endure the shitstorm.

Kim Kardashian (whom I would not know if she stepped on my foot) and some athlete she married for 72 days are getting divorced. The photos and videos and whatnot netted them some $18 million, or better than $10,000 an hour for every hour of the ten weeks they stayed together.

And the threat to society is me marrying Kevin?

If this man's mind was changed, so will more be.
