Just as April 4 has been an ugly date in my past, June 26 has defined a hopeful arc in the biggest fight of my life -- the inclusion of my tribe as full equals at every level of society and around the world. I won't see the end of the struggle, but I have seen some extraordinary advances, three of which coincidentally occurred on the 26th of June.
