I have heard a couple harp players who specialized in Irish music. I didn't realize that you would want to play in first position. I guess that makes sense because Irish music is based on a normal 8 note scale and first position would lend itself to that -- since the original Richter design, I'm sure, was intended for for the 8 note scale.

However, the congrats is on proposing -- and being accepted by such a nice young lady. Much happiness!!
