At the end of it all, it'll be all worth it...
Alright, Martell pulled through for me. He texted me and told me that he had an orientation today and was there almost all day and that's why he couldn't call. I told him to call me when he got settled and he did about 20 minutes later.
We had a long talk (the longest we've ever had, I think. A little over 50 minutes.) and everything is good now. I feel really peaceful and calm. We started the conversation with the normal, "How are you doing?" "How was the orientation?" "How's your classes going?" etc. and then I asked him about his job which he STILL refuses to tell me about. But he says that it's legal and ok, so I'm going to trust him on that. I would like to think he wouldn't disapoint me like that.
But hmm.. Martell and I are "on a break" right now, and I suppose I will leave it at that. But we are still very cool with one another. He'll still visit me when I'm back in town and he even says he'll come visit me down here one of these days.
So I'm very happy that it ended well.
