037 [video/action for Cherrygrove]
...well, I never thought I'd be back here again.
[Good morning, Johto! Your Phoenix today is looking very travel-worn, but from the background, it looks as if he's safely arrived in little ol' Cherrygrove. He certainly seems to be a lot calmer than he was last post, at least...he must have gotten back into the swing of things pretty quickly.
The camera jostles a bit as something rather...large and yellow floats on screen, STARING INTO YOUR SOUL WITH ITS BEADY BLACK EYES. Phoenix makes an annoyed sound and tries to shove the offending Pokémon away, but his Weepinbell is having none of it.]
Charley, quit that -- look, I know you've been excited being out of the PC and everything, but you're going to hurt someone if yo--
Weeeeeee! [HAVING. NONE. OF. IT. The screen jostles further until, with a shout, Phoenix drops it entirely as his sentiment plant decides to barrel into his chest, knocking him to the ground and plopping onto his stomach. He...does seem to be quite happy, but this appears to be mostly lost on Phoenix, who just looks annoying. Or, at least, he's trying to be.]
WHAT did I just tell you, Charley...? O-Ow, geez...
...er. [Attempting to shove the Pokémon off of his chest, he's at least able to sit up and grope for his Pokégear again, giving it a tentative smile.] Ah, Pearls? I'm here now. Do you want to meet me at the Pokémon Center, or...?
[A pause.]
And, actually...there's something else I've been meaning to say, now that I'm back here again... [Resigned to the fact that his Weepinbell is just...not getting off of him anytime soon, Phoenix gives it an exasperated pat on the head and returns his attention to the screen.] I know there's a lot of new arrivals, and, well...since I'm in Cherrygrove, is there anyone who, er...needs any help getting settled in? I've been here for a while now, so...
[...I'm not sure anyone wants help from someone currently getting pushed around by a floating venus flytrap, Phoenix. But, hey, his offer stands -- if you're new around here and want some tips on battling or need extra money or the like, Phoenix will be hanging around the Pokémon Center for most of the day, and REALLY needs something to take his mind off of the...things...that've been rolling around in his head as of late.
