What a dismal day!
Well I haven't updated in a few days, so I think I will now!
Thursday: I didn't do much during the day except for hang out and then I headed to work at 5. I worked till like 9:10, so not too bad, though I still hate it. HEHE. When I came home I just packed a little bit for the Special Olympics.
Friday: I got up pretty early to finish packing. Then, Marie and I headed to Friendly*s in Methuen for a bite to eat. When I came home, because they are so slow there, I didn't have much time before I would be leaving. I did a few things and just as I noticed that Trace would be coming at any moment and I was dialing her cell, she was at the front door. We headed to UMass Amherst for the weekend. Friday night we just went to the Opening Ceremony and to Subway. It was very interesting to hear from one of the athletes that Tracy is his mother and I'm his grandmother! Ahaha!
Saturday: Got up and volunteered at the cycling events for the majority of the day. Due to the rain that was supposed to be coming Saturday night and Sunday morning and because of all the cycling events being done on Saturday and none being held on Sunday (we were scheduled for cycling events on both Saturday and Sunday), we decided to head home. I arrived at just about 6:35, grabbed a pizza from Bertucci's and oh yes, of course, took a shower!!!! I went to bed later on, exhausted and hurting from a sunburn on my face and the back of my neck. Oh, and I got my big-time screwed up schedule yesterday, too! I'll be calling on Monday to get that one fixed!
Sunday: Just hanging out now, watching some of the Olympics and getting ready for lunch.
