Monday: I picked up Trace from D'Youville and then hung out at her house for a while. Right before, we headed to the bank and to pick up her car (which she no longer reaallly has...LOL) and then went to SMMC so that I could volunteer for my shift 3-6. We hung out and it was a nice time with her and Stef. Later on, I ate some Shepherd's Pie at home and hung out for some time. I also painted my dad's new cupola.
Tuesday: I went to piano from 10-11 and then went to the bank and to get gas. I did a few chores and then later on, Tracy, Emily, Lyndsay, Kate M., Stefanie, Kate F., and KT came to my house. We drove in two separate cars to Friendly*s for some yuuuummy ice cream and then separated. Stef, Em, Trace, Kate and I all headed to see Phuong whom we haven't seen in ages and then we went to the Mobil for a little while. Soon after, Stef had to leave early and so we just hung out at my house, playing cards (good times with Purple Monkey Dishwasher...Kate winning as she said she constantly does and BS...well that was just intense!) and watching the "dramatic" parts of NipTuck. Everyone headed home around 11:45, as I said goodbye to them, dancing on the lawn! Ahaha!
Wednesday: I got up early and my mom, sister, and I headed to Magnolia to go to my aunt's house. Though it wasn't a PERFECTLY sunny day, it was still a great time! We headed to McT's Lobster House and Tavern for lunch and then looked around Gloucester. It is one of the most historical places that I have ever visited, and my aunt did quite an excellent job at being our "tour guide." We got to go by a house selling for $10 million--it has 25 rooms and then add 12 bathrooms to that and 11 bedrooms!!! It's directly on the ocean...amazing! We also got to go by the "Crow's Nest" which is where the crew from the Andrea Gail went in the movie "The Perfect Storm" and in real life. It was so cool to see this little bar that was made so famous! We also looked to right where the ill-fated Andrea Gail left...but never came back. :( It was also very cool to go by the bar where Whoopi Goldberg--yes, the actress Whoopi Goldberg--works and the Walgreen's where my aunt met her. We also explored these different colored and decorated lobsters that are to go up for auction (one starting at $5,000) and walked out on the jetty past the lighthouse and also went to severeal adorable little stores. The town is so quaint and awesome! I can't wait to go back!
Ahaha...now going to watch "The Perfect Storm" to see so many things in this movie that we saw today!
Later...
