I've been watching the first season of Once Upon a Time and I've been enjoying it. A lot.
And I just finished episode seven (The Heart is a Lonely Hunter). I don't actually know that I can keep watching the show.
To recap the episode: Graham, the sheriff, is having an affair with Regina, the mayor/evil witch. Over the course of the episode, as Graham falls for Emma, the protagonist, it comes to light that Graham is the huntsman from Snow White and is actually being controlled by the evil witch. In the end, when he resists her and goes to Emma, Regina murders him.
And that's a thing. That happens. She just rapes him for years on end and then when he tries to leave, she just kills him. It was... really bad to watch.
Please, someone tell me that this is actually dealt with so I can keep watching a series with awesome female leads. Please.
