I'm not far past that episode, but I am hoping the same thing. Given the fairly-grounded attitude that some of the female leads have toward... well, general grownup-ness... I am hoping that it'll come to light and someone'll tell Regina, "You know what we fucking call that, right? You know what that makes you, right?"

I don't think it's dealt with? I'm not sure though, I watched all of season one over a short time period and I didn't pay attention to everything going on in the show.

I think the whole mind-control rape thing was added to the show to show the viewers that Regina is the villain, the show's big bad. So I don't think we're supposed to be okay with it (so it's not a Vampire Diaries thing), but yeah I don't remember the other characters finding out what Regina did.

I'm not sure I can deal with that, as much as I adore the concept of this show.

The idea of the rapist... getting away with it, just because no one cared to, essentially, read Henry's book thoroughly, really makes me sick. And it's not right to tell a story where a character gets casually raped and murdered by a powerful villain and then, that's where the story ends, not unless it's Flannery O'Connor style horror, which this is not.

Fair warning for season 2, Regina isn't all bad. As in her motivations and how she reacts. If that bothers you, you might want to stop watching the show now.

I was so caught up in other story plots during the first season that I don't remember it being talked about. Aside from Regina being able to do what she does, when she does and having no one calling her on it.
